I have quite a lot of breast tissue at the moment and do a lot of exercise/weights. Have my consultation Monday so will ask in depth questions then. But what is the difference in how they look and how they decide what you have?

Not too much difference in look I don’t think unless you have very little breast tissue and insist on overs, then they can look fake.
I could have had either unders or overs but opted for overs as I do weights and didn’t like the idea of my muscles being effected, but plenty of girls on here do weights and have had unders. Some just choose not to work their chest as hard, if at all, as it can feel a little weird I’m told and can distort while working out. Your PC and surgeon will be able to answer much better. Take someone with you or write down all your questions so don’t forget anything on the day. Good luck.

Do you know how they decide what is best for you? I have quite a lot of breast tissue I think and some of my friends who have had BA say under is better to go for, although post op is more painful. I’m having a dead at the pros and cons of both. I am taking a friend with me and have two whole pages of questions to ask! Thanks for your help 🙂 x

I dont know if there is a set way they decide. With enough tissue, and being an active person, I’d be more inclined to say they’ll suggest overs but it also depends on the surgeon I think and what they prefer.
They’ll ask you questions to discern what’s best for you.

They tend to do unders more on girls that have next to nothing in the way of breast tissue. But some surgions will still do unders if they feel its best for the look you want at the end… And my experience yes undersea do hurt lol iv got a high pain threshold but have found his a chalange the last few days x

Thanks for your help! I’ve been reading up online about the pros and cons and will talk it all over in the consultation! Only a couple more days until consultation now! 🙂 x

iv had both unders and overs, and they both look natural, but they both pose risks, like with anything, but overs pose a slightly higher risk of CC, bottoming out and rippling (you generally cant see and feel the rippling with unders as the muscle is covering the implant), i mean its like a 2% higher risk, which is nothing.
your surgeon will advise on whats best for you as a person, as each of us are all different although we may look the same, our structures make the desicion usually, but iv known girls push their surgeon for the opposite of what has been offered and love their results,
good luck with your process hun, its an exciting time. who are you seeing on monday? xx

I had a lot of skin and tissue and had overs. This madr sense to me as the skin needed filling. I am thrilled with my results and totally trust mr traynors reasons. He said he would never have given me unders x
