    Hi ladies.
How do you manage to take your bra off on take pics nearly every day post op?
I’m day2 and took my Macom off (my boyfriend did help me) and wanted to change it to m&s one (which was too small 🙁 )
I thought that was the worst idea I could ever have….. I was shaking from pain.
I am scared now to take it off at all….
I’m taking 2 cocodamols every 4 hours…. Takes the edge off but still sooooo painful and uncomfortable.
    How do you girls manage?
At this rate I doubt I’ll be ready to go back to work on next Tuesday…..

I can’t even move my arms or move around in general without being in pain. Nevermind getting in and out of bed….

i didn’t take mine off until end of day 2. I’ve been religiously using ice packs on my boobs to reduce the swelling also. where the skin stretched lots, i sort of rubbed the edge of the implant to make it a bit softer so the pain wasn’t as bad. I’m now day 7, and the only pain i really have is where i have bruising under my right boob, and occasionally between them still. everyone has different pain thresholds remember, and depending on what your implant size and placement was. mine were partials, so if yours are under completely then you may experience more pain.

don’t feel like you need to take it off, i changed mine on day 2 to a smaller macom as i bought a band up size and the swelling under my boobs wasn’t that bad, so i just went back to my regular size

and i could only get out of bed yesterday without being in too much pain, my right boob is the one causing my pain!

I have barely had any pain until now, they said I didn’t need my bra as I had a step to push it down, but my birmingham nurse said I can put it on anyway. I done so about an hour ago and now I swear I’m in agony I don’t know what to do I’m trying To pretend I’m okay as my other half needs to pop out

Did you have Unders @santa ?? I did and was in so much pain for the first few weeks and ot very slowly started to ease. It will get better but keep on top of your pain relief. I couldnt use any of my arms either and my right was the slowest to recover from not moving st all. Xxx

I’m in non stop agony too. Starting to feel a bit sick from taking cocodamol so I’m planning to replace it with ibuprofen…
I guess we just need to get over this stage, it is soooo horrible…
I had a proper melt down yday as I’m not able to do anything myself and I’m in so much pain all the time…
I had 400cc unders and I’m 5″3 and was size 6 in tops, so, petite really….
I did loosen some hooks on my Macom as it was getting unbearable already

Yes i did that aswell as was struggling to breathe and i also didnt jave mine on the tightest hooks as was horrible. I was only prescribed ibuprofen as i said i didnt wanna feel or be sick and it wouldn’t have helped. It helps with swelling aswell. But be sure to ask your nurse forst hunny. Some surgeons dont use ibuprofen. Just get into a comfortable position hunny and just ride it out. I can’t recall anything making me feel better apart from the pain killers. The worst for me was not being able to do ANYTHING!!! Its so worth it when you come out the other side. Xxx

I was given co-dydramol instead as it’s stronger have you tried that? I am still in pain but I can’t imagine taking something that isn’t as strong. I hope we both feel better soon

@santa I had my surgery the same day as you and I’m in pain! My tablets are making me so sicky too! I’m sat with ice packs and trying to keep my painkillers down!

I’ve stopped my antibiotics ( rang nurse first) as they made me really sick. Now on ibuprofen.
I’ve got really bad spasms and I’m s armed to move as it hurts like crazy
But it is only pod3 so hopefully it will ease a bit.
I can already feel my Macom being a bit loose which means that horrible swelling is going.
Hardest thing in world is to get in and out of bed and sleep as it is so uncomfortable….

Oh no it does get better I promise! Keep taking meds and rest up! I think it must feel worse under the muscle as I remember my first op I was in horrendous pain! This time I just had them changed but still under the muscle and it hasn’t been so bad. The surgeon told me that he wasn’t needing to cut the muscles as the incisions are already done from last time and everything stretched so it makes a massive difference to the pain not having that to deal with. I’m still not doing much and I’m sore but I’m not in the agony I was last time. X
