Hey girls I wanted some advice its like 4am and I’m literally in tears crying I usually deal with pain so well but this is something else. I’m 5 days post op first day I was fine but then day 2 till today feels unreal the pain is too much I can’t even move my right arm and my left boob feels like it’s in the middle so I’m finding it difficult to even breathe properly? Please someone tell me they’ve been through this or is this normal?

The worst pain is always in the first week post-op. It does get better hun. Go to your GP and get Naproxen instead. It is a great painkiller that also relieves swelling, and doesn’t cause bloating/constipation like co-codamol. I started feeling human again when I began taking it at 6 days post-op. Hang in there hun. It’ll get better soon. xxx

Hi Maream. I was like that. Now 10 days post op. Still in pain as im now trying to get of my tablets. Right boob is so swollen compared to left. Go doctors and ask for tramadol. They are amazing. Made me sleep and takes the pain away. Hope you start feeling better xx

@maream my worst pain ever was from the trapped wind in my back and shoulder blades after my ba. I found aswell as pain killers I ate loads of polo mints and had peppermint tea and the it naturally dispersed( if you know what I mean). And a bit of walking about x

Yes i also had a really bad recovery & am usually really good with pain!
For Me it was the muscle contractions in My left boob everytime i moved My arm was unreal! I went to see My gp & got some Tramadol tabs which didn’t do much either.
I just had to wait it out, then day 6 i felt so much better. I know how frustrating it is though xx

I called the doctor to see if they could prescribe me some but they said they like to use it as a last resort really but I managed to get hold of some.more from a friend and I have stopped using them now 🙂 I do hope the pain eases for you soon as it’s really not nice xx
