Hi girls Iv been following every bodies experiences for the last two months and I’m excited to say I am now about 14hrs post opp. I’m still in hopital and struggling to sleep because of the interruptions but I’m surprised I’m not really in much pain. I also had nerve blocks inserted into my chest, this didn’t block all pain but I do believe it helped. My boobs now feel similar to when I was breastfeeding and my babies decided to sleep for about 8hrs plus. Just very tight and full. My surgeon played around with sizes so Iv got quite a lot of air now trapped that’s popping when I move and also have one boob more swollen and painful as he really struggled to lift the muscle off my chest wall, I’m a hairdresser and spend half my day with that arm up in the air so he’s said that’s why as the muscle was a lot harder but any pain right now is so worth it! ???
Just wondered if the pain is going to get any worse I’m due to leave to go home around 10am and would like to take the right amount of pain relief with me.
I had 325cc teardrop medium high partials and started with probably a 34a but I was buying a very padded b cup and disguising the gap at the top with thick clothing and layers ?

Hi Claire, I had under the muscle and really suffered with pain for a good 5 days I would say but it does ease so much after that. Now at about 10 weeks it’s all been forgotten and so worth it 🙂 xx

Hi Claire, I thought I was ok the day after my op so I was quite active and I seriously paid for it on day 2 I was in horrible pain. Best advice is to seriously just take it easy, even if you think you feel ok, you’re not! Let your body heal and be gentle. Make sure you set alarms for your pain meds and take them every 4 hours. I set alarms to wake me during the night to take them because I’d rather wake to an alarm than the pain xx

Btw I’m day 3 now and although I’m still sore it’s a lot more bearable than yesterday ?

You just need to take it easy for at least a week/2 weeks.
After a couple of days you think it’s getting better but you can end up over doing it and in my case the muscles have gone stiffer than ever, I’m day 11 post op and I’m really feeling the bruising now x

Thank you girls, I really find it hard to just do nothing but I know it’s got to be done. Really struggled to sleep last night but did find having pillows under my arms helped. Just so excited to see them fully healed! Don’t know how some girls can put up with strapping luckily I don’t have any so I can have a little look every now and then. X
