I’m 5 days post op and I’ve now used all my pain killers I was given at hospital what is the best thing to take now ?

Hi there, I was told paracetamol by my surgeon.

I just kept taking ibuprofen when I needed to and that worked fine

U can buy more cocodamol from the pharmacy….. Diclophenac is good too for muscle pain which u can ask for….. If pain is manageable stick with paracetamol xx

Your not meant to take ibuprofen as it can thin your blood, I know it has anti inflammatory properties but my surgeon told me not to take anything like that. It can increase your risk of a bleed X

Dr Traynor prescribed me Ibuprofen?!?!

Ibuprofen shouldn’t be taken till at least 2 weeks after your opp Hun . It can cause a bleed. That’s naughty of your surgeon To if done that. X
