Paranoid about a cold..?

I’m six days pre op now, and everyone at work has come down with a crappy cold, and I’m so paranoid I’m going to get it!
What does it actually mean if I do get a cold, will they postpone my surgery?

Aww I was the same, just get lotsa vitamin c down you from oranges & orange juice etc, I didn’t come down with anything in the end but I’ve read on here that quite a few girlies did but didn’t mention it, it’s upto you hun but maybe contact your pc for peace of mind xx

I got told if you catch a cold ring up your pc and say how bad you are she will get in touch with surgeon to see if he wants to go ahead with it. If its not a bad cold they will i think everyone gets paranoid aboutgetting a cold i stayed away from customers at work that had colds just sobi didnt get it im sure you will be fine x

Thanks ladies, I am walking around with a scarf over my nose/mouth to stop me from getting it!
I’ll keep up with the orange juice and smoothies, this cold will not touch me!!

I just had my BA yesterday, and I still have a cold. It was towards the end of it, but I’m still coughing today and it hurts like hell!! As long as you are towards the end of it you should be fine! X

The nurse said as long as you are generally okay and don’t have a temperature you should be okay x
