Picking up baby post op

Hi all, I’m having my op on 20th and have been reading that you shouldn’t pick up anything heavy including a child. I have a 14 month old boy and from week 3 will need to be getting him from his cot and taking him to nursery. Do you think I should be ok to lift by then if careful? He’s 25lbs. Thanks 🙂

Be really careful take your time lifting him and if you can only do it when needed, just to get use to it for the first couple of days when using the muscles after recovery and rest. itl feel a little awkward at first but your body will get use to it like excersise you just need to re learn how to use your chest muscles, good luck i hope you have a really good recovery! 🙂 xxx

This is a slightly different comparison, but I have a very large cat haha! He’s approx 9kg, and I was able to lift him easily without feeling sore/unable to from day 4. So you’ll be fine I think! X
