pics of incisons

added pics of incisons. Right one looks fine. left one had blood on steri strip and looks bit sore (doesent hurt) and pics gone upside down for some reason. Did seem tiny bit open on one part of it though.

Bumping this up as I really need some advice as dunno wether to ring nurse or not.

ring the nurse just incase, they must be absolutely sick of me ringing haha! but its better to be safe 🙂 xx

I rang out of hours nurse just 2 be on safe side as its oozed a bit more. Sed it cud be bodies natural reaction to reject the dissolvavle stitches which theres nothing u can do other than keep it covered & will just take longer to heal or cud be infection. Nurse is gona call me on mon

thats good then, my dad had to have a massive operation and his body rejected the stitches and it went like that 🙂 so it could just be that! but atleast you’ve checked to make sure xx

Yer glad i phoned to put my mind at ease. But pic i took the area is quite red so think that would suggest infection but dusnt hurt at all.

Can anyone help? As dont fancy another trip to Newcastle unless totally necessary.

Just wanted to update that the nurse from my clinic phoned me today and said she was more than happy to see me this week but I said I am going to take the steri strips off after shower and check if its got worse or better and then Ill make the decision if I need to be seen or not. and she advised me that it may be best to put more steri strips on after as obviously its taking longer to heal. So got no more left so going to get some from pharmacy.
