    Hey girls!

Just wanted a bit of advice…

I have had barely any pain at all since my op (only taken 2 paracetamol and 2 ibuprofen since my op) which I’m really happy about.

The only thing that’s irritating me is the plasters to the side of my boobs are pulling whenever I move and causing like a burning sensation. Is this normal?

    Thanks xxx

I’ve had the exact same feeling yesterday and this morning! Today is day 3 post op and if I even scratch my head or move my arm slightly I get a burning pain in one or sometimes both near my plasters! ;(

I’m glad it’s not just me. I’ve just had a shallow bath and couldn’t reach to the side to pick the face cloth up without it pulling at the side! Hopefully it’ll be ok once they’re taken off at the 1 week post op 🙂 xxx

So do you think it’s the plasters then? I feel like I’m pulling a muscle or something but I get that nasty burning feeling! Aw I’d love a shallow bath I don’t think I’d be able to do that yet ;( how many days post op are you? Xxx

I’m only 2 days post op – just got my husband to help me in the bath. I think it’s the plasters as when I look where the pain is its where the sticky bits at the edge of the dressings are. I do get odd muscle twinges too but it’s a different sort of ache xx

Hi girls. I’m 16 days Post op now. I was the sane but only on the left side. When I went to my post op appointment the nurse took my plasters off and said it was where the plasters was on the stitches… I would say it’s nothing to worry about. Just hold on u till your post op appointment. Even though it’s soooo uncomfortable at times lol. Hope this has helped. Happy healing ladies ❤ xxx
