Plus Size BA Started by: Louisa Lloyd

I am currently in the Researching Stage with MYA. I have wanted Breast Augmentation since I start puberty, over 9 years ago, and I still haven’t grown in cup size. I’ve been desperate for the procedure and am passionate about having it done one day but am currently too overweight to have the procedure. I have been told by MYA that my BMI is too high for me to be able to have the surgery.

I am currently a size 18, 215 and overweight. I have been on a weight loss journey for many years and am still on that journey, trying to lose weight. I need to lose approximately two stone to be suitable for the procedure. I have not yet booked my BA consultation as I have decided to give myself a few months to lose some weight. I cannot yet afford the procedure so losing the weight isn’t an urgency, at this stage.

My concern is that I will be embarrassed when I attend my BA consultation or when I go in for the surgery as, even though I may be at a suitable weight, I will still be plus size. I have not once seen a “plus size” person who is advertising the BA they have had. Whenever I see photos of successful BA, the models are always very slim or toned and definitely not “plus size”.

Are there any plus size BA ladies out there who are feeling the same or have had BA. I feel almost unentitled to the surgery because I don’t have the beautiful body to match. I feel like I’d be laughed at for being bigger and having BA.

Are any of you plus size or do any of you know any plus size BA ladies?

Hey! I’m due to have survey tomorrow and although I am not plus size i cant relate in that sense. But ive hated my body for years. Mya isnt about make yourself skinny!! Its about enhancing yourself in whichever way we all feel necessary to make us feel confident. We are all doing this to make ourselves happy and feel better when we look in the mirror – not to fit a mould! Wish you so much luck for your journey !! Xxx

hey louisa, I can totally relate to you, I’m chunkier than all the girls on here, and I’m having my surgery next Monday. Because I am a bigger girl, ( and a lot older, 40yrs ) I’m hoping my body will be more in proportion as I am very flat chested… Fried eggs, yokes broke!. I just had the same conversation with my husband, that I was feeling insecure about the procedure as most of the girls are young and gorgeous figures… all I can say is… We deserve to feel good and comfortable and sexy too.. so you go girl, save up. TBH I could probably do with losing more weight as I think I’m on the border of being to heavy. But you will do it one day, Hun its took me 20 years, but I’m doing it. Good luck, keep me updated xxx

    Hi louise

I had my BA and uplift last monday, i am overweight by 2-3 stone!! I’ve always struggled with my weight my whole life i managed to loose 4 stone last year by doing a no carb diet however still need at least 2 off.

I didn’t have to lose any weight for my op but i can say now i wished i had as they’ve made me feel fatter however its also spurred me on to diet!!

I had tubular breasts and was only an A cup! I’m a size 14-16 in clothes (always 16 on bottom)

Give me a private message if you want to discuss antthing or ask any questions!! Xxx
