I struggled post op day 1

Like you you have pillows behind and in the side – and literally read until I fell asleep

The key is to put yourself at 45 degree angle .
By post op day 4 , I felt OK and the pain isn’t as bad

Hi Zoe, hope you slept better left night, it is difficult getting into a comfy position but once you find it hopefully you’ll sleep better, I have a large square pillow under my batwing pillows& a normal pillow either side of it to snuggle me in a little better, I’ll take a picture to show you

    Hey Zoe,

As soon as I was back from the hospital, I used four pillows to sleep. My bed is up against the wall which also provided some support and stopped the pillows from shifting.

I stacked two pillows and placed them against the wall and the other two against my headboard making an L and right angle.

I slept right in the middle of that, it kept my back elevated and didn’t leave all my weight on my tailbone. Also meant that heat and ice packs didn’t roll all over the place!

I hope you find a way to get cozy
