I’m having a break down. I had my surgery on Thursday 22nd, I was an empty 32a and wanted to achieve a definite D cup. I had 335cc HP unders. As soon as I woke up and looked down I wanted to cry my boobs look nothing like I wanted! There very high and round at the top which is nice but from the nipples downward they are like pyramids and from the side it looks like I have triangles stuck to my chest. Anyway as I know I shouldn’t have but I bought a 34D bra a few weeks ago being crazy obsessed to have my boobs done lol today I thought I’d try it on over the top of my sports bra and even then I couldn’t fill it! I’m worried when the swelling goes down my boobs will get even smaller, I don’t know what to do I know there’s nothing I can do now but I’m really hoping they will change ???? Xxx sorry for the rant

Haha I did the same after the op, looked like I had two cones stuck on!!! I’m 9days post op now & they are looking less cone shaped. My swelling has also reduced my size, I’m not overly concerned yet as from what I’ve read on here it takes a while longer for understand to come through. Everyone’s different & it’s so hard not to compare your boobs with boobs on here xx

hey, I’m about 5 weeks post op now, and they didn’t start to feel squishy or look like proper boobs until about a week ago. have a look on my profile. i’ll post some more at the 6 weeks mark.

just hang in there and be patient, they have so much changing to do 🙂 xx

also why don’t you self measure? i measure at a 32dd (though they look smaller to me), and they’ve maybe only fluctuated by a tiny bit, even though they’ve gone through the stage of being swollen, and not swollen, etc… might make you feel a bit better to measure them and keep an eye. then when they do look smaller you can see they haven’t actually changed that much if you get me? xx

Hi Hun I’m only 7 days post op today but mine looked sooooo cone shaped and I had a rounded shape on top only in the past day have they have changed loads already and I no longer have the rounded shape and they are less pointy and more natural ! Hang in there xxx

Thank you both so much, I’m glad the cone shape goes down that’s probably the worst bit for me. I’m scared I will lose a lot of boob when the swelling goes as they don’t look big enough for me as it is ???? I will definitely self measure weekly to see how much it changes xxx

Ah that’s great, I’ve had a look and your boobs look amazing too! I was originally a 32a empty above the nipple, I’m wearing a 34d sports bra atm I have my 1 week post op appointment on Thursday hoping they measure me then I heard they do. Can’t wait for them to fluff I’m getting more use to them now and then don’t look as cone shaped. I hope when I get to your stage my boobs are at least a D still as that’s what I’ve asked for 😀 xxx

Hey hun don’t worry about the shape of them! Mine are exactly the same at the moment my nipples look like miniature cones on top of larger cones! I was super worries at first but when looking at people’s post op photos it’s completely normal and when they drop I’m sure they will be perfect!

I was exactly the same! You think you are going to wake up and have boobs and love them, but I didn’t like looking at mine as they felt massive, fake, Madonna boobs (cones) even my boyfriend said they looked weird! And they did! I’m nearly 6 week po and I’m now starting to like them and like looking at them on me, I don’t think we are told enough and how they will look at first, but things change loads!

Hi @clt88 so I measured myself at POD11 so I can see the change and am I doing this right? With the underbust measurement of it’s an odd number you add 5 even number you add 4 to get your band size (29inches + 5 = 34 band size) and you take away your breast size from band size (36-34=2) and the number of inches is up however many cups???? That’s would make me a 34 B and I’m crying my eyes out I am not happy what so ever I thought they looked small as it were but especially with them being swollen still shit I’ve just wasted money and I’m no happier then I was before. Please tell me I worked that wrong 🙁 xxx

Hey, i am booked in for my op in April so not had it yet but my sister had the exact same concern when she had hers done 4 months ago. They looked almost pointy but now they have dropped, gone so round and have fluffed so appear bigger than they did. They look amazing so try not to worry, just let them settle! xxxx

Ah I know this is just a crazy emotional roller coaster. I’m not as worried about the appearance as I think now they look good its more the bra size that’s going to worry me.. good luck for your op I bet your well excited! 🙂 xxx

Hey Nikitta, I’m sorry to hear you’re not happy with the bra size, but have you tried a few? I’m almost the same measurements as you, 29 and 35 and in Victoria Secret they told me I would be 34DD in a normal bra at 3wpo. I’m now 5wpo and bought a couple of 34D and DD in the VS sale and they fit nicely, hoping it’ll stay that way once I’m out of sports bras. Go and try some or get measured, I’m sure they are bigger than a B! xx

    You’re welcome.
Also sizes differ a lot between shops. I used to be a B in VS and every highstreet shop an A. I’m sure it’ll still be similar in terms of difference, only now we actually fill the bras 🙂
Hope it comes out a size you’re happy with for now, even if they will still change. X

NOOOOOOO its not right! i measure a 28/29inch which makes me 32 band. and then an inch difference up represents a cup size. so with my measurements of 28/29inch bust and 33inch bust, that makes me a 32dd. sounds like you’ll be same size as me if not bigger.

so you have the same band size which would make you 32. and 36-29=7inches = e/f? if someone could confirm. i dont know how the letters progress after DD lol sounds like you’ve got a good pair @nikitta haha xx

Eeek that’s great claire! Can’t wait for 6 weeks to finally wearing nice bras and get measured. How far gone are you now? And thank you for helping me with that I must’ve cried for 3 hours the other day lol, just saw my surgeon today for my 2wpo and he’s said alls well I can shower but I’m keeping the tape on my scars for a couple more weeks xxx
