I just had my pre op and the nurse was telling me that apparently they don’t recommend Macom or M&S bras anymore? She then told me that they had created one at MYA that I should look into using. Is this just a sales thing lol or has anyone actually used them and found them better? I was so set on getting a Macom..

I bought some mya ones yesterday – my ops on the 20th. But I’ve also bought a Macom as a just incase haha!
One thing that has made me wonder is that the mya does up at the back and surely reaching round to sort that is not something you can do straight away with ease? Where as the Macom does up at the frontxx

Deffo a sales pitch lol. I was advised the M&S bra st my pre op. Iv got macom and M&S. There’s no reason they would all of a sudden not be good enough lol xxx

I got mine from asda as I was reading on mya website about the bras and they are rated good so got them just waiting on my macom coming as I go for my op on Wednesday xx

The macom is fine, I find that it makes maybe nipples sore lately so that’s why I got the M&S one as it’s softer. Tbh Iv are the mya one and I wouldn’t get it for after op as it’s not a front fastening bra so might be hard to get on, I couldn’t lift my arms for over a week lol!xxx

@jessbenny That’s exactly what I thought when I saw it? I would never have been able to do that up on my own & I didn’t feel like it had much support but obviously that might have been because I don’t have the boobs yet? I’ve ordered my Macom and I think after I know roughly what size I’m playing with I’m going to go into M&S x
