Following as I’m in th same position! Some people have said Asda do a turquoise and black zip up front high impact one for £8 but it’s limited on back sizes for smaller backs so not sure whether to risk it, Mya also do their own one, 2 for £60 so pricey but apparently very comfortable if anyone else has experience with them? Xx

If you have dr lutz I would definitely go with the mya bras as I’ve seen on here she has refused to put anything else on after surgery.. I have my op tomorrow and I went with the mya bras they feel so soft.. I tried then on yesterday and they are lovely x

I had my surgery on Friday, I went with the M&S sports bra £25 in a size 34D I had 300cc overs, went from a 32a. I have attached a pic of me wearing the m&s bra I am 3 days post surgery and this bra so far have been lovely and comfortable and very supportive. L x

I’ve got the same one as above – m&s high impact sports bra. I bought a 32dd and 32e (had 425&450 HP) then nurse chose on the day which size I needed X

Ok so if I was to get the m and s one, would you recommend me buying two sizes in it just in case and then my surgeon can choose the best size after my op? Also, if I was to go for the mya bras, can I buy them after surgery? Or do I need to buy them beforehand? Thanks girls! Xx

I always say to people if you’re gonna spend so much money on a surgery, it doesn’t make sense trying to find the cheapest bras and the most ‘comfortable ones’!!!! they’re not supposed to be comfortable!! My surgeon said that many girls hate the macom bra because they’re too tight and not comfy but actually that’s what gives the new boobies the support they need – they aren’t meant to be loose but give compression!
I personally have 3 bras, the Macom Ultimate which I feel really holds my implants in place and gives the right support/shape, like I never worry about them moving with any activity they just stay in place and it gives me that peace of mind…. and also it’s the easiest bra to buy pre surgery because you don’t need to know your cup size only your back

The second one I have is a favourite of my surgeon and is the http://www.hospitalbra.com/purchase-c186m which I got in Medium… It’s basically like the Macom bras but a bit comfier (don’t know if that means the support isn’t as much or not but reviews are good!) although many people don’t seem to know it I’ve found it truly amazing, and nice to have a nude bra really

The third one I have finally, and is what I use to sleep with, is the M&S Post Surgery Extra High Impact Zip Front Non-Wired Sports Bra, of which you DO need to know your cup size so I only got it day after surgery, or you can just take a calculated guess haha x

During the day when I’m active I live in the Macom Bra, because like I said I feel it gives my boobs the most shape and support it needs, even though it is tight. like I’ve said you’ve just spend thousands on a surgery so honestly it’s worth spending a little more to get you the best post-surgery results for your boobs, you don’t wanna have regrets, and it’s only temporary like you won’t wear those bras foreverr… hope that helps xxxx

Ok brilliant thankyou for the comments!! What’s the difference between the macom signiature and macom ultimate? I might just buy a selection to take with me and then go with the one the surgeon recommends for after surgery! And then I’ve got a few others to change into whether I’m sleeping or just chilling throughout the day ! If anyone brought the m and s ones how did you pick your cup size cos obv you don’t that before the op? Xxx

That’s why I went with the maya ones as didn’t no what size I would be lol there’s be a few surgeons that have made people by the mya bras after surgery as they don’t like the m&s ones but my sugeon mr traynor said to either get the mya ones or just a good suport sports only good think bout the mya and macoms is your don’t need to know you bra size you just buy a size up back size xxxx

I think both will be just fine 🙂 I got the ultimate after loads of research because it seems the lower band is less irritating for your incisions (I’ve found this is true for me) and the lower band helps with the back pain, however I think you’ll be fine with either… I originally was going to get both, but then the clinic told me to get the hospital bra as an alternative so didn’t feel like buying 2 macoms.. I know lots of girls that have 3 macom bras though (apparently the I-bra is AMAZING lol) !!

Like I said I really loved the Macom because I could buy it way in advance of surgery, as I didn’t have to worry about the fit xx I brought all my bras to my surgeon at my surgery day ( I recommend this as do many other girls) and just let them pick the one they want 🙂 My surgeon wanted to reduce my swelling so put me in the Macom! it’s always nice to have like 2/3 bras because there’s no pressure with the washing haha (so lazy lol). good luck! x

btw the Mya ones I think will do the same job as the Macoms, and also doesn’t require you to know size 🙂

Shall I get the macom bra a size up in the back to allow for swelling? Or just stick with my back size now? I’m gonna get the mya bras aswell post op so I have a selection xx

it’s always good to have a selection I’m even thinking of getting one more bra haha 🙂 I would just stick to it tbh, as there’s two options for the fastening in case you want it looser also the cups naturally adjust to your size so would stretch when swollen and adjust when swelling is down anyway 🙂 x

I have the Mya bra had my surgery yesterday with Dr Lutz my bra feels right I normally don’t sleep with anything on at night and have been worried how I would manage. Well so far so good I rather pay the money and know I got what was right so I completely recommend the Mya bra, I had 425 overs and I am really comfortable xx
