Post op check…..

Hi girls, I’ve just had my 7 day check and the nurse said my incisions have healed but are raw due to bra rubbing. She has covered them in steri strips and said not to shower for another 7 days until she checks them again. I’m gutted I can’t get a shower, has anyone showered when been told not too? And how long has it took for others incisions to heal completely I had my BA last Tuesday so onl a week ago, just wished things healed quicker xx

Hi hun im 3 weeks post op today and mine were the same i had to hace steri strips on so i couldnt shower. Id do what they say hun and get some baby wipes you dont want any chance of infection try finding a bra that doesnt rub on your incisions i had a problem with that and went to marks and spencers and got their post surgery bra its really comfy and pretty that helps you feel better in yourself anyway lol but it comes down past your incisions so isnt sitting on them since i got one of them mine have healed great and when you are finally able to shower its the best youve ever had lol

Thanks for your support just feel really low today and back to work on Thursday aswell, I’m goin for go to m&s tomorrow and get one, just want them to be better now. Had no pain really just sore on incisions xx

No probs hun i was the same around that time its the boobie blues lol i went to bed one night feeling really bad and sore woke up the next morning and was fine just a little achey it will be all worth it in the end and i just used it as an excuse to be a tramp and do nothing for a bit lol x

Hopefully tomorrow I’ll feel better, just impatient really xx
