    I’ve got a medical bed rest , 3 fluffy pillows and I cannot for the life of me get comfortable,I keep sliding down and my back is killing me! Is anyone else recovering like me and has cracked the way of sleeping without being in agony !! Tried to lay on my side and the weight off my boobs is just too much! This is the only part I’m hating right now ;-( xxx

    Bless you Hun I know exactly how that feels it’s horrible. After 3 days it was my back and bum aching snd hurting so much that was keeping me up at night. I ended up with 9 pillows and a v pillow and kept adjusting them till I was comfy as possible then just sat awake and watching tele in bed till I was too tired to keep my eyes open. Trust me when I say it gets easier and you get used to it. My nurse told me I was able to sleep on my back now (still not on my side) and I’ve got so used to sleeping up that I still sleep like this and laying flat is now uncomfortable.
    Hang in there hunny. If you find sleeping upright on the sofa or in an arm chair more comfortable then do that for a bit and see how you go. Xxx

    Hey Kirsty, have you tried putting a pillow under your legs? I find this helps you sliding down on the bed! I used the medical bed rest, a V pillow on top of it and then a pillow under my legs and slept fab xx

    @natalie thinking of trying the sofa tonight! My bottom of my back and bum is so numb! I fall asleep sitting up watching TV to in my room. I just can’t believe how uncomfortable it is. I’m a side sleeper so this is the worst I just hate it. On a brighter note boobs are feeling less rock like and are softening up and swellings gone down, not got one single bruise yaaaay!!! Xxx

My whole lower body is aching from not being able to get comfortable. It’s a bit of a nightmare this is by far the worst pet of it lol xxx

    @kirsty its the middle of my back that hurts me, think its the angle I end up sleeping at. I feel like I need to stretch it out but of course my chest is still too tight. Really hoping I get used to it or find a way to make it bearable!

    @Dannii
    , where did you get your bed rest from?

    I know Hun I totally feel for you I really wasn’t expecting the sleeping to be such a hard thing. I woke up once in the middle of the night almost in tears because my bum was so sore and numb I had to get (roll) out of bed and walk around for a bit. Try that Hun I’ve got an l-shaped sofa and found the sofa more comfortable than my bed. It’s worth a go the sleeping thing really is trial and error.
    Yaaaay, it doesn’t take long does it? I didn’t get bruising either how lucky are we? 🙂 its sounds like the twins are healing pretty good for you which is a plus to all this. The first few weeks drag then after that it seems to fly by and your forget how awful this part it and then the boobs just get better and better!!! Xxx

    It is really hard to get used to sleeping sitting up, and the bum ache and back ache are a killer, Eventually you do get a bit more used to it, I found had to put a pillow under my knees as well as a cushion in the small of my back. I think its just one of the difficult parts of recovery, but in 2 weeks you will be feeling tons better, so just hold on. I think its really important not to be tempted to sleep on your side, they want the capsules to form in the correct position so first few weeks are crucial. No pain no gain hun hahaha thats what u have to tell yourself. let us know when you finally get a good nights sleep. You will end up so worn out and drugged up that you will eventually fall unconscious and get a great nights sleep sitting up 🙂 it does eventually happen like that. Good luck with the night time dramas xx
