Hey girls i was just wondering how many days post op it took for you to be able to be up and about? Im PO day 3 today and still in alot of pain when stood up or walking around. Its my friends birthday next week and i wanted to be able to join in the celebrations and go for a meal for a couple of hours. How long did it take you to feel more normal and less bed bound?

    Thanks girls Xx

Hi phoebe, I’m 4 days post op, I had 400cc high profile overs and I’m stil I’m slight pain when I stand up but it eases off, I have a 3 year old and can manage most things now. I washed my hair today and can do a lot of thing but at a slower pace than normal.
I should think by next week you will be able to go to the meal, just keep on top of your painkillers, I find it’s easier to take them every 4 hours so I don’t have pain rather than wait till I have pain because it can be quite agonising.

Hope your feeling better soon xxx

    Hi pheobe,
I’m now 10 days post op and I’m still struggling to go out and do anything. Everyone heals differently but I’ve quite severe bruising and the pain is still really intense. I had 350cc partials and I know Mr Kazzazi did a lot of work on my muscles so I don’t know if that’s why I’m in so much pain. I hope you feel better soon xxx

@kia1276 @lauren213 Thanks for the reply girls, I have been staying ontop of my painkillers and each day is getting better so hopefully, I think when i have my strapping off on friday i will have more movement as its really tight and putting pressure on the implants which i think is alot to do with the pain im in at the moment, when i get up i have to hunch over like an old lady because standing straight is so painful! ? Happy healing girls xx

Babe honestly had a horrendous time I feel for you – I had my op Thursday 25th and today I’ve woken up almost normal! No pain killers and looking after a 6 and 3 year old myself with not much hassle. Honestly not long to go and you’ll be fine x

Btw I asked jn pharmacy and could take nurofen with the co-drydamol a few hours apart. I actually realised the nurofen worked much better so stopped co-drydamol altogether x
