post-op girls, QUESTION

girlies, how did feel in the first couple of weeks? i am almost 2 weeks post op and cant forget abt boobs even for a second during the day. they are very sensitive and still swollen, feel like they are stuck on (they look great but feel sooo weird). i have 4 bras but none of them is comfy enough ;( they all at some point start pressing on scars and then it is really hurting… i guess it just takes time for them to relax and stop being so alien, but i just wanted to hear how you get along with ur new boobs 😀
and do u wear ur sports bras 24/7 or take bra off during the day for some time??

Wear 24/7 for first 4 weeks. Gets better but mine still numb 6 weeks post op

thanks Janet 🙂 as always i underestimate recovery time… running around with my heavy camera and tripod the whole day, it is not that good…

I felt like that for a while, kept buying bras to find a comfy one but none were any better lol take it easy its really early days 🙂
I was told u can take the bra off now n then to let them breathe lol i actually slept with mine off but sssh! Shouldnt of lol x

Hi Hun . It’s hard I no have you brought a bra extender strap , it helped me loads I made a DIY one one night in a crazy stress citing the two parts of an old bra and sowing them together . Worked a treat. Xx

I felt like that for ages and kept changing my bra every couple of hours!!! Mine feel totally normal most of the time now but I still get the odd twinge and they ache a bit x

thank you so much ladies! it makes me feel normal 😀 @ayshababy lol ;))) i let boobies breath during the day and feel much better than in bra… but when i sleep i need the support somehow… will keep ur secret ;)))

@Kristy really?? i though i went nuts when i had to change 3 bras in one hour 😀 once i had to sit on the train for 2h and then cycle home, and my boobs became so swollen that i just had to open the bra under my jumper to be able to move!
girls, are the seamless bras, the ones that are very soft and more like a half-tshirt, ok?? or are they too soft?? i will put a pic into album so u know which one i mean. they are comfy for sleeping…

Hi Hunni I was the same my nurse told me I could keep my bra off for an hour a day so I did it after my show which felt good. The only bra I found comfey was my shock absorber bra there not cheap but worth it for being comfey and well supported.

I found the macom bra really really comfy dont no if uve already tryed that? X
