Post op girls-were you told to use a breast band???

Hi all, so im just wondering for those of you who’s surgeons do not use strapping were you told to use a breast band after your op? I was only told to have my post surgery bra with me on the day and it was put on about 3hours after the op, ive started wearing a compression band recently to try and prevent displacement getting worse but with hindsight it may not have started had i been wearing it straight after the op, im wondering if maybe they forgot to tell me? I just pressumed my surgeon does not require his patients to use them xxx

I wasn’t told about the strap at all? Maybe it’s something only for those who get unders.? As I had overs

I didn’t have a breast band Hun mr traynor just said to where post op bra for 6 weeks and not to take off unless changing in your o clean one xx

I had unders too Kym, i had a little panic on there suddenly thinking did they tell me to wear one while i was still semi GA’d off my face!! Iv’e been on here for months though and i know many of the surgeons opt for post surgery bra only, plus hubby was there everytime they spoke to me, thanks for your reply’s though girls, and

I had unders with Dr Fiumara and I have to wear a breast band for 4 weeks. I don’t think all surgeons use them xx
