Post op ladies in the last month?

Hi girlies how long did you leave it until you drive a manual car? And did you anything different or just was careful? I’m back to work tomorrow after 15days of 🙁 feel scared! Active job

I waited about 9 days I think to drive, just struggled with 5th and reverse but used my right hand and it was easier! I just didn’t lift stuff that was heavy at work – otherwise totally normal. I had overs for reference x

Hey Hun, I drove after 12 days, reverse and 5th a bit dogey but that only lasted a day or so… Still no lifting though and I’m nearly 4 wks PO xx

Thanks all, I think because this is my revision surgery and I’ve waited almost three years I’ve been soon protective of them and tbh they still remind me what I’ve gone through discomfort wise! My left arm I can lift higher than my right for some reason so that’s good for the gears, I gave it a go yesterday and like you’ve all said found reverse awkward and a bit of pressure with the wheel , not gonna be lifting anything , told my boss I won’t be doing anything that will effect my boobs! I refuse to go through another operation! X
