Hey girls. Loving this forum 🙂 booked my surgery last week and been on here pretty much ever since lol. I have my pre op next week and my surgery is booked for Thursday 13th April I’m soooo excited!!
I’m having 550cc hp over the muscle. Just want to know if any girls post op could help me out on what to expect a little. im getting a little bit anxious about my pre op. I live alone with 2 kids and want to prep everything before hand so my eldest (who’s 13) doesn’t have to do too much to help me with my youngest (who’s 5) also I’m a domestic cleaner. It’s a very active job and I’m on the go all day everyday. I’m self employed so need to get back to work asap. I’ve given myself 18 days off do you think this will be enough time? I’m freaking out thinking I’m going to push myself too much too soon and something will go wrong. Ive heard that having overs healing is a little easier but eveyone is different.
Any advice would be great!! Xx

Hiya, i’m only 4 DPO however it has been a blast for me! I had 225cc semi under the muscle and I have had next to no pain at all. The only thing I struggled with was the anaesthetic as I had never had it before and made me sick for a few days.
a ‘V shape’ cushion has been EXTREMELY helpful when sleeping comfortable and upright.
All I’ve really needed help with is lift things as you shouldn’t use your arms for a while to give your stitches a chance to heal.
Best of luck with it all 🙂 x

Thanks so much Christie that’s made me feel much better about recovery. I think I’m thinking the worst so I won’t be too surprised with how difficult it is. Good for you on your recovery Hun and congrats on your new boobies 🙂 lol
How exciting is it Hayley. 3 weeks tomorrow is my op date and it can’t come quick enough.
I’m not with mya Sarah they were on my shortlist but found a clinic and surgeon I’m super happy with so went with them.
My boyfriend is staying the first 4 days with me to help with the children but then has to go home to go back to work as he’s self employed so couldn’t take any more time off.
I’ve heard the v cushions are a big help so going shopping next week to get one. Also was going to get an m&s post surgery bra as I’ve heard they’re more comfortable than the macom (which I’ve ordered) then least I’ll have options.
I have a box of paramol which are pretty good pain killers I had an awful toothache a while back and these were the only things that would shift the pain so bought a box already for my post op.
