Hi all, I had my BA surgery on Tuesday 23rd at Fitzroy. Overall seemed to go well and the pain so far isn’t excruciating… However… I stayed overnight and foolishly tried to open the ensuite door which is a fire door (rather heavy after surgery) and it feels as if I may have pulled something in my chest on the right. When I move now this is the side where I feel the most of a twinge…I’m really worried I’ve done some damage or pulled the stitches! Has anyone done something similar – am I worrying for no reason? As I said the pain isn’t excruciating, just feels more prominent on the right.

@laurens91 try calling the nurse hun just to put your mind at rest. I’ve got one side more painful than the other but that’s just because i had a slightly bigger implant put in x

Hi @laurens91 as Abi said it may be worth calling your nurse to put your mind at ease, but I’m sure you have nothing to worry about. I had my op on Saturday and am feeling more discomfort in my left boob for no reason, I haven’t done anything unusual and both boobs have the same size implant, my right one just seems to be recovering quicker. I’m sure this is a normal part of the recovery and you are fine. 🙂 x
