@murphymoo thank you! is this the one that you use? I’ve order some asda ones, I’ve bought like 3 different ones to take as I have no clue!! xx

I’m exactly the same hun, the nurse told me for highstreet bras to go up 1 back size and then order to the cup size you desire and up a cup size after for swelling, does this make sense? I still didn’t have a clue so ordered loads! x

Yes @shannon, the m&s one had loads of good reviews and it’s so comfy! I just went up one back size and one cup size to what I was hopin to achieve, they’re stretchy so I wouldn’t worry too much about cup sizes xx

I can recommend the MaCom bras. I’m into my 2nd week post surgery and all is healing well and I haven’t really done much resting (having 3 kids and no time off work). They are a bit pricier but I think worth it seeing as you can order in you back size only and don’t need to know your changing cup size. Mine have gone up and down and back up again. The give really good support but the one downside is mine role up a lot – but I think this is because I still have a big tummy!

I havnt yet had my surgery but ive got macoms and also these from asda http://m.direct.asda.com/george/lingerie/comfort-bras/2-pack-comfort-bras/G005378769,default,pd.html they feel really good quality and soft and they also come in small medium and large like macoms and they stretch the cup area, I’m a 34 and I got a small I adkrd they said small is 32/34/small 36. Media is 36/38 and large is wuite big as they stretch. They often say out of stock but when I got mine stock came in in just a few days cx

To be honest, I wanted to rip mine off last night. I’ll also be buying some M&S ones now so thanks for this post and the recommendation. My MaCom one has really been irritating me over the last 24 hours.

@sally-thornton1 aw really? my PC told me not to get a macom as some girls find them really restraining. I thought I would anyway just to be on the safe side and have a variety for the nurse to choose after surgery!

Hi. I bought macom bra because of the opinions from girls on this forum. I found it very uncomfortable and was glad I didn’t buy 2 macoms in one go!My second bra I have bought 2 days after surgery and I can recommend is Anette post srugery bra. You can buy them in ebay. 27.99£.They are way more comfortable then macom but it is only my opinion.

@Shannon ill give you my honest opinon on all these before you spend a fortune and I know everyone is different..
Asda bra, was okay for the first few days but I feel they were not at all supportive I had a bad back after a few days. Macom was great but I felt claustrophobic as I thought it was quite expensive. M&S high impact sports bra is a god send!! I love this bra Very very supportive – no back ache, not restrictive at all and looks good as well for when you are going out to face world after your op xxx
    I hope this helps
