Pre op

When did everyone have their pre op? Mine was meant to be the 21st but the nurse cancelled ?

Now is scheduled for 3 weeks before my op which I think is pushing it abit incase there’s any complications. I’m such a worrier!

I had mine 3 weeks before my op as well hun, I don’t think theres anything to worry about for the pre op, if you are healthy now then your bloods should be fine ! x

I had my pre op 4 weeks before my op but he problems with bloods and had them re done only a week before my op. It’ll be fine, they get results the next day apparently x

That’s ok then, keep worrying incase something comes up and the op can’t go ahead ?

Have they told u to come off the pill just in case they turn that on u mine didn’t tell me till pre op that u can’t take the pill 6 weeks before 2 weeks after or take any herbal life or anything like that I literly had to stop my pill the day of my pre op because I wasn’t told before xx

I had my pre op yesterday and they don’t really do much tbh just take pics, weight, height and confirm implants and you sign a lot of forms. I didn’t have my bloods done either xxx

I had my pre op 4 weeks before my surgery, I think the date depends on when you/they are available. But the sooner the better, incase there were to be any problems.

I think everyone’s pre op is slightly different depending on your medical history. On my pre op my nurse took my blood pressure, BMI (height & weight), post op pics and went through some papers regarding your medical history. I also had todo one of those swap tests, to test for any bacterial infection.

You will also be giving the time to ask any question regarding the op, bra size, recovery time, pretty much anything tbh. I had done quite a lot of research before hand so didn’t have much to ask ?. My pre op only lasted 15-20 min haha.

Your nurse will also give you some papers which contains info on what you need to know regarding your operation, who to contact, recovery time & etc. ? xx
