Pre-op tomorrow??

I have my pre op tomorrow! What can I expect as I honestly have no idea? x

Hi Amy, my app took around 45 mins, they discuss your past medical history with you, take your blood pressure and oxygen saturations, you have a few more forms to complete and they also go through your procedure and after care! You also have your pre op photos taken. My nurse was lovely, she really explained things well! They also swab you to see if you carry MRSA and I had bloods taken due to previous anaemia when I was pregnant. I also booked my first 2 post op appointments! Hope this helps xx

My pre op took about 30 minutes, she went through some forms with me, weighed me and did my blood pressure and took my pre op photos, I also booked my first post op appointment and she talked me through the after care. I didn’t need my bloods doing, just an MRSA swab xx

Hi I had my pre op today, the nurse was lovely weighed me, took my height, swabbed nose and armpits for mrsa and took my pre op pics. Went through everything, signed a few forms. I didn’t need my bloods doing and made my post op appointment. I was only about 20 mins xx

Hi Hun pretty much what the lasses above are saying, the nurses are lovely & make you feel at ease & comfortable with everything! My surgery is Wednesday x

I had my surgery on Friday 3rd march. I have got my post op appointment with my nurse this Friday to get my strapping off xxx
