    hi Girls,

Just after some advice? Has anybody got pregnant before the 12 month mark? i am currently at 16 weeks since having my BA and my partner has been talking about me coming off the pill and trying for a baby? im just worried they might go funnie and be a waste of money šŸ™ xx

They recommend you wait 12 months to allow all the internal healing to take place as pregnancy will affect your breasts and you may be left with a result that is less than perfect if they are subjected to these changes before the 12 month mark. That said others have got pregnant very soon after and been lucky… I guess its a risk and you have to ask yourself if its worth it… could you afford to get them done again if you needed to?

You can at least start trying? If your coming off the pill it could take up to a year for your body to get used to being off the pill? I’ve been trying for 2 years for baby #2 with no luck? x

Thanks rachel, i will do that then. The pill is giving me horrible side effects so i was thinking of just giving my body a break from it all anyway! xx

I got pregnant ON the pill so do be careful until you’re at least 6months post BA. This is what I was advised. But of course don’t take it from me, you are right to see your surgeon and talk to him about it šŸ™‚ Best of luck šŸ™‚
