Preop appointment what to expect?

Pre op appointment ….what do I expect?

I was going to ask the same! Got mine in a couple of weeks! xx

It’s literally just the nurse telling you what you can/can’t do before the op, telling you the process of how they will drop over time. Then she’ll take pics and take your blood pressure, also she’ll do an MRSA test and blood test. It’s not long, only like 20 mins x

do they do you weight and height as well. I am 8stone.13 down stairs and 9stone 2 upstairs I must have uneven floor xxx

En route to my preop, my PC advised to have something to eat so blood sugar is normal. I’m expecting her to tell me to stop smoking as well! I’ll let you know how it goes xx

Yes they did my weight and height , even tho they had already done this at my first consultation , they took my blood and did blood pressure , an Mrsa check and a pregnancy test them it was just talking me through what I can’t do eg , no fake tan or nail polish or make up on the day as only to bath in plain water and no perfume also about keeping scars dry after op and how long to wear sports bra for and when u can fly or go to gym ect or that’s all I did at mine didn’t have any photos done ? X

@lauraemily I’m having 300cc & 325 due to assyemtry. .currently a flat 32aa …op date is 3 November in Preston! Excited, nervous have mixed feelings!!!
What size are u currently and what do u expect?

Back from my pre op. No bloods or urine taken, but I had 2 MRSA swabs. We discussed meds that I am currently on and I’ve been told I need a letter from my GP and consultant before op can go ahead. ? I’m determined to get them, but ask if you’re unsure and give yourself plenty of time if you’re on meds or have a condition, unlike me. ? 18 days til boobies!!
