Has anybody had any problems finding it? The nurse said my sat nav might take me to a big field. Admission is 10 tomorrow so may leave extra time in case I can’t find it!

hiya aimee me & my mum went to find it today coming from manchester theres loads of road works as you come off motoway at junction 32 (if thats the way u come) its at bottom of a long road on left hope this helps im leaving about half 8 gota be there 10 xx

Hi Aimee, I had trouble finding the hospital at first, its totally concealed off D’Urton Lane, which the sat nav takes you to. There is no sign on the main road, there is a sign for a kennels and cattery so we completely missed the turning, but it is that turning – just looks like you’re turning into someone’s drive, but you will see the sign just off the main road!

Yeah take the turning with the kennels sign, you can see the hospital sign if you come from the opposite direction … we completely missed it and went about 10 mins up the road, but saw it on the way back! I’m sure you’ll be fine! We had no trouble following the sat nav up until that point – and we came from the same direction as you! Who have you got your surgery with? How are you feeling? x

Don’t expect to see a huge white hospital building! It’s pretty straight forward to get to the road it’s on but the sign for the hospital is slightly concealed and can easily be missed! I noticed the sign as I drove past it!! Hope it goes well, the hospital and staff are fantastic.

I’m leaving around 8.15 I think. Thanks for the info, I’m having a tummy tuck with dr mounir. Starting to feel a little nervous of the GA now In case I die and have to leave my daughter! But excited for it all to be over!
