I’ve paid £1,00 deposit, secured my surgery date (23rd Feb 2016) but have gone to my bank to get a loan and they only reason they cant approve me is because my address isnt registered – otherwise I would be approved and get the money in my account the same day.

I’ve been living at my address for 3 months and have contacted the council and the royal mail numerous times regarding the address being registered but have clearly not gotten anywhere with it. Managed to get through to my landlord today who informed me it’s registered as something completely different to what they called it within my tenancy agreement – wtf!!

Which means that because the address is registered with a different name to what I was led to believe, my bank statements from the last 3 months all have the wrong address on them. Meaning I still might not be able to get the loan 🙁 !!!!

I dont want to go through MYA finance as it’s too risky for me having to pay back £250 a month (what if something happened and I wasnt able to make the payments anymore?). Whereas the loan from my bank is only 7.9% interest – so its perfect!

As payment needs to be received at least 56 days prior to surgery I need to pay off the outstanding balance later this month. I’m feeling so low now and like it just isn’t going to happen for me now 🙁

EiTher way if you can’t pay back the finance or the loan youl still get a default on you Credit file, it’s just myas finance is a higher interest rate but finance is essentially a loan anyways x

You need to be on electoirl roll register that’s the 1st thing they look at when getting loans n banks acc n cards as this proves to them that your at the address you say u are xx

If you’ve only lived at that address for 3 months, I would have thought they’d need a previous address that you’ve lives at for over 3yrs, like your parents? Try that instead! I’m paying for mine on a 0% interest credit card. It’s 0% for 18 months. They only wanted previous address from ME and no statements etc. Martins money tips has a list of the best interest free credit cards and shows you which ones you’ll be likely accepted for. Xxx
