Hey girls, I was just wondering if anyone can help me? I’ve been for my 1 weeks post op appointment today, everything is healing really well. I try eat as well as I can do but because I’m a vegetarian I thought maybes if I bought some protein and have some shakes that may help with my recovery. I thought whey would be suitable but I just wanted to know if any one actually knows before I buy some haha 🙂 thankyou xx

Hey Amy, you can also get protein waters which I prefer as not a fan of shakes. Eggs are also a good source of protein xxx

Hey Amy, I’m vegetarian too and was worried about getting enough protein! I’m 6 weeks post op now and I’ve been eating a lot of meals made with Quorn mince etc, it’s super high in protein, especially if you have it to make a pasta dish. I’ve also been making home made protein bars, with lots of nuts and seeds, and adding protein powder to them as I don’t like the shakes. Hope this helps 🙂 xx
