    Hi there ladies,

I had my operation on the 25th of January. I had under the muscle implants. I am still sore at the moment but getting better each day. My husband is due to return to work on Wednesday the 6th of February. This meaning i have to do the school run and start carefully lifting my 2 year old daughter. I will probably feel really achy and sore still but i am worried of doing any damage to my internal/external scars etc. Does anybody have any similar stories or advice as i am worrying? I will be 12 days post op by then.

    Thanks xx

Hi I had my ba 12 days ago. My partner went back to work a week later leaving me to look after my 6 month old & 4 year old. I was abit sore and achy the first couple of days but am absolutely fine. I had my post op with the nurse on day 8 and am healing really well. When I went with a consultation with mr traynor, he said I would be able to lift my baby to shoulder height but no higher. I’m not feeling 100% back to normal but I’m almost there! The first 10 days were the hardest for me xx

I had my op 23rd, and I’m pretty much back to normal, carrying shopping/hoovering etc. I lift my four year old onto my knee, but that’s it x

How did you find picking up the children nicki? Doing normal housework. I love my hustband but cleaning isn’t his strong pain dreading being incapable of tidying up . X

Haha! I know what u mean!! I had to sit back n watch my partner attempt doing the housework.. Was itching to take over!! I just took it easy at first n didn’t push myself too much, just did what was comfortable… Not too much stretching. From day 10 I found doing the majority of the housework fine..
I’m sure ul be fine, if ur straining yourself then jz leave it! Oh n good luck with ur op! Xx

    Hi,
Thanks ladies. It is just the lifting my daughter into the car seat i am most worried about. However i could see if she will climb in.
