Hi, I am 18 and comsidering this, before anyone tells me I’m too young I know my boobs have stopped growing and have done extensive research into this. I don’t want to have huge boobs I would probably like a full B/small C as I am currently a 32A. Once getting it done do your boobs feel really hard and too unnatural or nice??

I’m not going to tell you you’re too young BUT having been in your frame of mind before, I will say it’s still probably better to wait. I was 20 when I set my heart on having surgery, then a year later I was pregnant with my second child. I breastfed her and my boobs went through so many changes, going up to a 30E and then deflating to an empty 30B/C. Four years later I had my third (and last!) child, who I also breastfed so again, my boobs went through all the mental size changes.
Spending so much money to get the perfect boobs, I can’t imagine what they’d look like after so much change through pregnancy alone, let alone the breastfeeding.
You’re only young so even if you’re not planning on children (I certainly wasn’t, I never wanted any and I ended up with three!) I’d give it some time just to be sure.

Of course ultimately it’s your body and your decision, nobody can tell you what to do. And to answer your question, after having your op your boobs will feel rock solid, regardless of whether you have over the muscle or under the muscle. The hardness isn’t the implants themselves, but the swelling and the spasms of your chest muscles tightening, but over several weeks they will begin to relax and your implants will drop and your boobs will begin to feel softer.
It’s a gradual process, you won’t be seeing any real results til about 6 months onwards, and even then they still continue to change after that!

Hey Sally! I completely get where your coming from! I think from the age of 16 I’d decided if my boobs hadnt grown I would get one. When I turned 18 I decided I was definitely going to go and head with it. My family and friends wasn’t happy at all and thinking back I completely understand where they were coming from I was to young at that age. My mum persuaded me to wait atleast a couple of years have all the money saved so I’m not getting any loans incase there was any complications and I couldn’t work. I’m now 20 and so glad I waited and no I have not changed my mind and I knew I wouldn’t do but now I know my boobs arnt going to change and my mum supports me 100% as I’ve saved up the money and are going to go ahead at the start of January. All I’d say is if your definitely going to go ahead with it do lots of research and see lots of different surgeons to get the best for you. Hope everything goes well x

You’re 18 – legally an adult, so I won’t say you’re too young 🙂
There are risks of difficulties breastfeeding/loss of sensation/having to have them redone if you do get pregnant, lose or gain weight etc. & It’s also to do the op when you have enough money saved so that if anything does go wrong, you have some money spare to deal with that situation… and it’s really helpful to have someone to look after you. You’re researching so you’ll know it all soon I’m sure!

I’m 23, just had mine done nearly two weeks ago. I would have done mine at 18 if I could have. I don’t want kids of my own (want to adopt) and my weight has changed over the years but my breasts have always stayed roughly the same… so, the only difference for me would be I’d have been enjoying my boobs 5 years earlier! We’re all different though. 🙂

Mine are really odd atm! I can feel my muscle at the top of the breast and that is still hard but will loosen up, but lower down where the implant isn’t covered by muscle is really squidgy and nice. 🙂 Eventually they’re super close to the real feel of boobs, if not exactly the same.
