Im sat writing a list of questions i think i should ask on my initial consultation next week. What questions would you all reccomend i ask as i have no clue ???? thank you

Hi, my consultation is next week also. I’m quite apprehensive about the whole thing so I’ve written a list of things I want to know so I’ll share mine with you if it helps 🙂

* Will I need a lift in the future? Will the weight of the implant cause early sagging?
* The implants are lifetime but will I need them re-doing in 10 years?
* What’s the likelihood of it going wrong e.g double bubble?
* If it goes wrong how long will I need to wait for a correction?
* Will I be able to have oral morphine to take home with me?
* How safe is the anaesthetic?
* Will I be able to lay on my front for sunbathing?
* I’m going on holiday 9 weeks after op – will I be ok to spend a lot of time in the pool?
* Will sun exposure help healing

That’s all I’ve got for the minute but I’m sure that I’ll think of more between now and then, haha! I’ve had some advice to ensure that you try on the sizes etc in your consultation in case the surgeon rushes you

Do i need to take anything witg me to my initial consultation? Iv read about taking 2 forms of id, a sports bra and my nhs number? Is that correct? Tia

Initial consultations you don’t really need to ask anything about the procedure as much it’s more about finance, your surgeon, what prodeducre you want, maybe ask them if they have any photos that they can show you etc. X
