Quick Moan – Appointments

Just wanted to have a little moan about all my appointments being late or cancelled.

My initial consultation with the nurse at Holburn I remember being so excited got there dead on time on my lunch break as I work pretty close – Half an hour later still waiting ! Think I ended up waiting an hour until I was seen obviously returned back to work mega late !! So that gave me the hump but didnt expect it to happen again !

First consultation with Dr Gonschior, got there on time and to be told appointments are running 45 mins late – was actually even later by the time I was seen – again messed up my day !!

2nd consultation with him, was booked in for about 2 but I called this time and said if you know the appointments are over running let me know as I wont leave work so early ! The lady told me to turn up about 3 and still had to wait !!

Appointment with the nurse was on time so cant moan about that – but 6 week check up left work at 4 to get the Upper Wimpole Street for half 4 – turned up for them to say atleast half hour wait (do I want to go to the shops and then come back)

No I didnt want to do that as I had things to do that evening so I left and the appointment is now rescheduled till the 23rd September – so much for a 6 week check up

would be nice if the reception girls could give you a quick courtosy phone call if the appointments are late – And I imagine there late because they over book !!

Only reason I went to MYA was for Dr G – Wouldnt recommend them for timekeeping at all ! All they want is your money !

I had the same problem with Holbon clinic, when i went to meet mr singh he was over a hour behind, but mr C the clinic was empty and was on time. xx

They should call people – As the I would of just left work a bit later rather than sit in the waiting bit for an hour – really annoyed me ! I dont think MYA deserve any of the commision they got out of my operation (The nurses do thats it) Should all go to Dr G !!

My initial appt with Mr T was running late by about 45 mins. I was 15 mins early for my appt and saw the girl go in..

Apologies where given by staff and refreshments where given. When i did finally go in to see Mr Traynor he apologised but also said, his patient need to ask him lots of questions and he was sorry.I thought well thats pretty good service making sure his patient was reassured.

My PC also apologised too.. So all in all i was late but it was handled in a very courtious manner.

I found same thing on my first app, was waiting an hour and didn’t get offered a drink at all, since then they have been ok but instead I have trouble trying to get hold of my pc, who is lovely, but as soon as I leave the office I am forgotten about. I paid for my op in full and now need to change it but it seems that since I paid them my money I have been left to constantly chase for things. Now I have to change my op date and surgeon but am having trouble doing it, and have to go through all the apps and consultations again in less than 4 weeks. I will try and get the first appointments of the day if I can!

i went to transform and waited over an hour to see a pc. she didn’t even say sorry! just said that this is what you get for having a free consultation. very disappointed but still considering transform because it has a 10 year guarantee!!!

owh nooo i hope my app dont get delayed i have to make my way back to oxford intime for work! got to see him on the 27th

I think sometimes with the appointments these things just happen,but sadly we only hear about the negatives as people need to vent their disappointment,i think if we take in to consideration the amount of people the clinics are dealing with,it only need one person to run over time,and that throws the whole day,I would be unhappy if my appointment was delayed.Kay02,lets hope if you choose Transform they can provide the care you want,if they can be that rude at first appointment do you think you would get very far if and when you needed to use the after care service.I would research a little more if I were you.rinule dont worry honey,you could always call the clinic on the morning of your appointment, and explain that you need to be on time due to work,they may be able to tell you if there is an estimated delay,if there is you may be able to re arrange with work to go in a little later honey.xxx

i do have an appointment with mr singh from transform in a couple of weeks. and i have read online that he literally spends like 10 minutes in a consultation and doesn’t talk and is abrupt. but loads of girls love his work. where as i only hear good things about the surgeons from girls here.

will defo decide between the two companies once i see the surgeons. cant wait!!!!!!
