    Hi ladies,

I noticed some red pimples above my incision on Sunday, yesterday there were more of them and today it’s even worse!

I thought it might be sweat rash or something but it’s starting to worry me bevause it’s getting bigger and redder by the day!

Has anyone had this or knows what it is? Ive got my 6 week check on Thursday but don’t know whether to try and see the nurse before.

    Xx

Have you had anything rubbing on that area? Maybe with a new detergent? Or anything sticking to the area or new cream after bathing ? looks like a localised irritation on the sensitive skin – I get this sort of rash after using plasters ? X but still contact your nurse x

@clm21 @chelsea21 @lauren1602 Thank you all for replying ladies! We have started using a new detergent so it could be that! Ive sent a picture to my PC and she’s going to show Mr Kazzazi it and sees what he says. Hopefully its nothing nasty, thanks again xx

Mr Kazzazi has looked at the picture and said its a rash but that’s it’s nothing to do with the procedure and that I should go to my doctors and get something to clear it up.

Very happy with Katy my PC who replied to my texts within 2 minutes and emailed me back with Mr Kazzazi’s response in about an hour. xx

Emma, I’ve just noticed the same sort of rash on my stomach! It looks like prickly heat so I might take an allergy tablet to see if that helps, what have you done with yours? X

@nikkistephenson1985 Hi Nikki! I went to the doctors and was told it looks like thrush. They prescribed me an anti fungal steroid cream but ive been using canesten and I think it might be getting better. I’d go to the doctors, just for peace of mind x
