Ok so sometime last year I posted a thread about rate the pain when I was pre op and as promised I will rate mine now that I am 20 days post op so tomorrow 3 weeks out omgossh how quick did that go! Wow! So with all that said and this is only ratings for after Surgery so the 1st week!
    Day surgery 0-10 lol
    Day 1- 2 pain 8 discomfort
    Day 2- 5pain 10discomfort
Day 3- 8 discomfort 0 pain but sometimes I would feel pain Whixh would be a rating of 9-10 in certain areas and this note changed routine after day 9.. I’d say the rest of the week I’ve had the strapping on so same sensations of burning feeling tightness so throughout the day would be just that then in the night would feel tight mainly under bust area and felt vibrating right boob vise versa pain would be on and off so overall it was the sensations and discomfort more then painlol
    Day 4-
    Day 5-
    Day 6-
    Day 7-
    Day 8-
Day 9- strapping came off discomfort off taking it off was for me a 8 and then as I stood for first time felt very heavy

Ok so I hope that is informative for you beauts I do have sensations of burning still but I am still at the early stages and body is Still adapting but that’s my ratings for the first vital days after Surgery.

Good idea for a posting Candy.

Having been through horrendous period pain and childbirth ,but also I was overs and not particularly large implants – for me so far :

Day 1 -4 Discomfort 8. Pain 3 Quite often, but not severe

Day 5-7 Discomfort 6. Pain 3 – Not all the time

Day 8-9 Discomfort 8 . Pain 3 Not all the time

Day 10 – 20 Discomfort moving down from 8, back to 6 and sticking there really. Pain 2 now and again occasional 3.

Sleep for me was one of the hardest parts. On the days after a bad nights (2/3 hrs sleep only) I’d get really down especially around day 7-10, when I was feeling very weary of the whole thing.

No problem sugars 🙂 I was very interested to understand an idea of what kind of sensations and pain one would feel ofcorse did my research but it’s only when you actually have it done you can know the exact pain all sorts, @Anna for me mobility was back to normal from post day 3 I’d say and even surgery day I had done my makeup and was able to move my arms!
Haha it’s normal to think all sorts as your mind play games with you I remember pre op and even though it’s abit tmi I posted a thread about how girls managed to go toilet after Surgery lool

I’d also like to add aswell above I mentioned burning sensation so not alarming any pre op girls lol its not the actual inside of breast the burning sensation for me was and iS still around the surface of skin almost like a sting sensation pins and needles. I’d also feel like a slight movement which I still feel with sudden movement in one breast like air bubbles.. Today I feel itchy all around and I am numb at 20 day’s post op under both breasts and still bruise sensation when pressed with finger tips.
( I have been checked this is normal and should only be concerned if does not subside around 6-8 week mark or even. 3months xx

Yes could do everything at day 3/4 too but just felt at three weeks I stopped being cautious about it all so probably psychological! However I’m still going to the hairdressers to wash and blowdry my hair and obviously can’t do the ironing yet 😉

I washed my hair for first time myself at 8 day’s post op under the shower leaning slightly foward and before that I was pampered at hairdressers too
I still sleep supported with my v pillow and can lean slightly side ways but I think I don’t fully go sides ways as I am not confident yet lol

To add to the list of ughhs you can get, and having researched, I gather as normal, – I have had indigestion quite a few times and restless leg syndrome, which I suffered years ago before I started exercising and running, but which has come back now I’m not running. My skin the past few days has been itchy (arms and legs) – for some reason when I shower I can get this, so I generally have a bath, but of course can only shower at the moment.

Pain-wise, I’ve had burning, particularly behind the nipples, stabbing pains, heaviness to the point of real discomfort./mild pain, and lots of general achiness. They go harder sometimes and get more tender then, after a shower for example and when my nipple go hard, the breasts become more sore then too. For the first 10 days, I hated even not having my sports bra , even for the minutes it took me to shower, as it felt like they were going to drop out, and they’d feel much heavier and so uncomfortable.. Oh and feel like I want to massage them, but you’re not supposed to and day 8-10 I cried a lot lol

    Happy healing!! 🙂

    @AllyH
I had heart burn sensation and burning sensation on the upper part of my abdomen days 2-7 and super bloated I had really bad stomach cramps after taking senoket post day 2 as the meds made me constipated and then finally I let it out post day 3 lol
Haha the tears I cried post day 2 and later hadn’t a clue why lol girls I’d also say my period was delayed and this was normal after Surgery xx

I had lots of bloating – couldn’t go to the toilet for ten days! aGONY! Pain was at 5-8 for first week as had nipple lift, took 3 months to be able to do everything at the gym as before. Weirdest thing was the bubbling and squelching in my boobs when I started doing aerobics or running, did not like it! Went away after about ten months! xx

Yeah the bloating was awful, haven’t been that big since I was pregnant! It’s all the pain meds and drugs I gather. For anyone pre-op – get senekot at the ready and take it on day 2 maybe and drink lots of fresh orange x

Omg girls this really scares me as I am currently being looked at for ulcerative colitis which is and ibd condition basically affects the tummy bowels etc. So discomfort down there I’d rather not have but seems like it is possibility due to drug etc. This as well as my boob pain! Oh maaaaannnn! x

Talk to your surgeon and get his advice on how to avoid. I read that it was the cocodamol (tho may not be only that) so they may be able to give you different pain meds etc. xx

Hi Gemma, it’s not that bad we’ll it wasn’t for me as I’ve mentioned it was only really bad cramps as I took senoket which usually does just that and after 8-12 Hours I let out lol you’ll be fine the codien makes you constipated but just take the constipation tablet day 2 that’s what I did xx

    Hi Girls
I’m two days post op and I’m really struggling. I never imagined it to be this bad. I can handle the tightness on my chest, as that’s to be expected, but the whole nipple pain is out of this world!!!
I went for a little walk round the block, more of an old lady shuffle, as they say to stay mobile and the pain was incredible. Little shots of pain right through the nipple. Literally took my breath away. The co-codamol I’ve been given isn’t touching the sides ATM, in so much pain it’s driving me mad x

I also take Green Tea tablets to help with my metabolism anyway, but stopped the day before surgery and by this morning (day 2) my stomach was so bloated, so I started taking it again and it’s done the trick 🙂 x

Hey chick are you overs or under the muscle?
I wount be able to give you much detailed information on Amy experience with unders as I am an overs girl but from doing my own research unders are more painfull and take longer to heal.
That being said imagine your muscles being cut away frim ribs then having implant under and then having the muscles and top layer skin being stretched!

I would say tho keep taking your codraymol it does get better but you should be resting at only two days post op even though you may feel like doing everything it’s best to rest rest rest x happy healing

    Hey Candybabey

I’m 410 unders. I’ve literally sat and done nothing today. I needed a little walk yesterday for some fresh air, as was in the hospital from 1pm Thursday afternoon until 8am yesterday morning.
I’m just impatient lol and hate being so restricted but just gotta rest up and wait xx
