    Hi ladies,

As above i am a keen horse rider and am due to start back in 2 weeks time. I am almost 12 weeks post op and still have the odd twinge or 2, i had under muscle placement.
I have purchased a shock absorber sports bra that holds my new assets in place and i am going to get a body protecor fitted too.
Any horsey people out there that have had a ba please let me know how you found riding afterwards?
I am just so scared of a fall and doing any lasting damage, although want to resume normal activities again.

    Thank you xx

Hey pinklady! I’ve got my op on 10th may, and got a horse, having to have someone look after him for 6 weeks as I doubt il be mucking out etc till about then! I’m the same though, slightly nervous about starting to ride again incase I fall off etc, but I guess we will just have to try and not fall off on our fronts! Haha sure after the first couple of times back on the worries will fade! Luckily my boy is pretty well behaved, youl just have to make sure you don’t get a naughty one for a while!

Glad somebody asked this! I’m only 2 days post op and bored of no riding already! My surgeon told me I could ride 6 weeks post op but I think that might just be hacking? We have 5 show jumpers so not sure how long until I can jump? Really nervous as they’re all buggers! When did you all get back to yard duties? I’m trying to prolong that as long as poss :)! Xxx

    Hi ladies!
Im 4 months po now and trust me all your fears/concerns will fade once you get used to your new assets. I forget Ive even had them done already.
I had over the muscle and the easiest recovery everrrr! I was mucking out 5 days po and I rode, 2 sports bras and a body protector, at 4 weeks po. I had to mind, to get him clipped, and I was fine. Not saying you should willfully go against all advice lol, but I know my body and knew what I could handle. My body protector also stopped my boobs going anywhere!!! lol.
Listen to your body, and if it hurts or feels uncomfortable, dont do it.
