Really starting to worry about the after pain!

Hey Ladies,
Im having my surgery in one week and im really starting to get nervous about the after pain from having unders! I’ve heard that with having the implants under the muscle the pain is a lot worse! I’m not worried about the surgery at all as i know im in safe hands with Dr Traynor, Its just the pain after im worried about! Would love to reassurance right now haha! xxx

I’m now 4 days post op and last night I slept better than I have done so far! If I’m totally honest I did under estimate the pain ? It’s been worse than I thought it would be but I think I must have a low pain threshold! Keep on top of your meds and get a V pillow! You’ll be ok! X x

Agree with crystal I also under estimated the pain, but I have a high pain threshold. As long as you keep up with your meds you will be fine.

I had unders. I was surprised it wasn’t as painful as I thought but shocked how restricted I was. Couldn’t even take my tablets out and snap them in half the first day post op. Couldn’t open a new bottle of water just things like that and I found it quite frustrating. But if you lay down still it just felt really heavy no pain at all. It’s only when I tried to do anything or get out the bed xx

Hi! I had 400cc unders with me traynor and to be honest I had very minimal
Pain just a bit achey and sore in the mornings but nothing unbearable at all!! I really was expecting a lot worse! I would t worry about it too much everyone is different and no matter what it will be well worth it in the end xxx

I think it helps if you do a lot of stretching in the lead up to your op, I only had overs but I made sure my chest muscles were nice & loose!

I had unders last Tuesday , quite frankly I was expecting the worse , as it turned out the pain was far less than what I thought it would be . I was able to brush my hair , teath and have a wash . I took ibrupofen & paracetamols for the first two days after my op … Every one is different , it’s very difficult to predict how each individual is going to feel after a op …

I had 400 unders last Tuesday and haven’t really had any pain at all. The day after was a bit achy but nothing too bad, haven’t had to take any pain relief at all. Think it just depends on the person. Hope all goes well 🙂 x

Hi Hun , I was the same really stressing about the pain, but it was fine for me very minimal, I agree I think we’re all different, try not to stress about it to much I’m sure you will be fine, good luck x x x

Yes I think your all right it’s all depending on the person I think I have quite a high pain threshold tbh I have 6 tattoos so I feel like if I can man through them hopefully this will be ok! But I appreciate all the comments, very excited now ?Xxx
