    Hi girls!
One week post op now and I had my strapping off today! What a relief! I think I have been really lucky as I haven’t experienced any pain or side affects throughout the whole process! I’ve seen quite a few of you saying you’ve experienced pain and discomfort and so I thought I’d let you know that ice packs have been a god send for me! I purchased two from Amazon a few days before surgery and I’ve literally had one on my boobs 24/7 since! Every time I had an itch or discomfort I whipped the ice pack into that part! ?
The nurse today told me how soft my boobs are already and how there is practically no swelling. She was so shocked but we both put it down to the constant ice pack!
I also took my co-dydramol as prescribed, two tablets every four hours until I finished the pack! I think this may be why I got away so lightly, or maybe it was just luck! ?☘

Any girls who have had the strapping/bandages removed have any advice on how to get all the sticky crap off? I keep getting stuck in my Macom! ??
To be fair, I have managed to get a lot of with baby oil!

Excellent advice! Can you share a link to the ice packs you’ve used? Glad to hear you’ve had no recovery issues X

You get two in a pack & what’s even better is that they can also be heated for when we go through the dreaded period pain! ?

@jadepowers Hi Jade, I used sanitising gel to get the sticky stuff from the strapping off, my husband put it on cotton wool and did it for me as I was too scared to go near my incisions, worked great though as I was constantly trying to pick bits off before xx
