    Hi girlies!
I’m having my BA on the 25th of Jan, having 350 cc High profiles with Dr Kazzizi.
I was just wondering when you can go back to driving, I was told a week but is this a realistic time scale as after a week of me having them done I’ve got to drive to nottingham to have my dressings done and it’s a 45 minute drive for me.
Also I live on my own and I’m scared I’m not going to be able to do simple things for myself as I’ve seen some people saying they dont know what they wouldve done without parents and boyfriends etc? Xxxxxx

I think it depends babe as if your having unders it hurts more and takes longer to recover . To be honest I still couldn’t walk very far after I week as I went shopping and came home after 45 minutes as I couldn’t lift my handbag and my boobs were
    Killing me xx

my nurse told me not to drive for 2 weeks, I drove like a 5 minute journey a couple days before that now and again but it hurt pulling on the steering wheel even then, so I personally wouldn’t recommend such a long journey only 1 week later.. you don’t want to risk harming them Hun! I would so recommend you tryina get some of your friends round to help you as I couldn’t do anything for myself the first 5ish days, I couldnt even sit up or reach anything by myself I was completely stuck! Again you don’t want to risk harming them while your heeling so I would so recommend you see if someone can come and keep you company for a few days rather than you struggeling and overdoing it by yourself! I had unders btw, the most painful xxx

Yeah I agree with holly ! I literally couldn’t even go to the toilet and pull my trousers down without my boyfriend or like get out of bed I was that bad! Not sure why as I’m normally okay with pain . Little thing you will realise you can’t do for a few weeks haha ! Get someone to drive you babe and don’t risk damaging them x

I’m only booking the mon-fri off work plus weekends so in total will have 8 days off then i will have to drive to work and back :s Everyones different, ive read that people drive after 5 days and some who cant move for 5 days. PLUS im not telling my parents so will have to try and do everything myself xx

Yeah I would just prepare for the worst though as I can normally deal with pain . However I didn’t think it would be like this and also it’s the position of the Implant , Cheynne are you having unders or overs ? After about 9 days I could wash my own hair though so I gradually got better xx

Il be having unders i think, not 100% as meeting with surgeon on the 7th Feb but i don’t want overs. I know unders take longer to heal but surely 8 days will be enough? i might MIGHT tell my mum haha but i dont know yet :s xx
