    Hi girlies.
I’m curious about whether the position of the implants will change recovery time?
I’ve seen a couple of different things saying the overs take less time. Is this true for you guys?

Hey Amy. Yes that is true, if you have the implant placed over the muscle then it’s only the skin being cut and the pocket under your breast tissue being made. If you have it placed partially under the muscle then your pectoral muscle is going to be cut which is obviously going to take longer to heal.
I was originally having partials but my surgeon said it would take me 3 months to get back to get back top sports, having the implant over the muscle means I will be back in 6 weeks. Big difference.
    Hope this helps 🙂 x

Hi Amy, I had overs and I had a really easy recovery. Lot less pain than Unders or partials as there is less interference with your body x

I had unders and the recovery really wasn’t as bad as I thought.

I had partials and was off the paim killers after 3 days. Think everyone is different.

    +1

Only problem is that not everyone is suitable to have overs, it all depends on how much breast tissue you currently have so you may not get the choice x

I had partials and I had no pain no pain killers was back to work within 4 days! Plus going under the muscle gives a much more natural look x
