    Hi all

I’m almost decided on having a ba but have 3 children and worried about recovery time. My eldest is fine but my other 2 are 4 and 1 and I dont work so do everything for kids baby is with me all the time. How soon after my op can I lift my baby ? My husband could take a week off to help out but I’m always lifting pram and baby to car etc doing school runs . Realistically Im not sure how I
Will cope but having breastfed them all I think I deserve something back !

    Thanks for reading

Hi, I have 3 aged 2,4 and 7 and am a single parent to make things worse! I started back on the school run today and I’m 13 days post op. Until today, I had help from my mum and friends for the school run. I walk it though – not sure what I’d do if I had to lift my 2 year old in and out of a car seat! Are there any mums who can help with the school run? I haven’t tried lifting my 2 year old yet but a 1 year old will be a lot more difficult I would imagine? Does he/she nap during the day in a cot? The surgeon told me not to lift my 2 year old for at least 2 weeks.

I have a 2 year old and a 1 year old, my partner took 2 weeks off work as I was told not 2 lift the kids for 2 weeks. I’m 10days po and feel absolutely fine, started doing most things again after a week, washing, cleaning etc just no heavy lifting xxx
