Just wondering if anyone has had an regrets having overs? Or has anyone had unders and wished they had overs?
I’m really debating between the two and can’t decide! I really like the rounded look and had agreed on 375 unders, but after seeing girls on here with 375 overs i really like how they look! Is it too late to change my mind though? My op is the 27th?
    Thanks! ☺️ x

Hey Hun, I had overs, but wasn’t offered unders. I just told my surgeon what I wanted and said overs so I went with it. My recovery ( touch wood so far ) has been good. I just got on of my incisions that has a bigger scab on it than the other so we just keeping a eye on it. But I’ve had full movement in arms etc from day of op. Good luck in your decision xxx

Hi Jo! Thanks for replying ☺️ I think I was all just abit excited and just went with it! But like I say most the ones I like happen to be overs and that’s the look I wanna go for 🙏🏼
Aw really, that’s good! I really hope I can use my arms like you can and that its all smooth!
Did the surgeon confirm everything with you on the day of op or will I have to let them know before hand that I’ve changed my mind to overs?
I’ve tried phoning 5 times today and there was no answer, and I’ve emailed my pc about it aswell so just wait on to hear back but hopefully I can change my mind xx

Hi Kelly! You can tell mr moniur on day of surgery when you have your final consultation with him before surgery! I found out this today at pre-op – because I’m debating between sizes she said I can change my mind on the day!
I’m going 350’s though, tried them on again today & I’m decided!! 31 days!! Xxx

Hello Kimberley! Aw I’m so happy hearing that haha the pressure is getting to me how soon it’s coming round and I’ve become really indecisive!
Ah I’m pleased I can let him know on the day, thanks! πŸ™‚
Oh good luck for then! Mines next Monday so you can see how mine goes ha xx

And unders are for a more natural look, and overs give you a more rounded look apparently xx

I regret having overs. The weight inevitably makes your breasts sag over time. Also if you haven’t had babies yet I would go for unders.

@kelly-93 I had partials last Saturday with 350cc mod+ implants and recovery has been good so far. First few days were pretty sore but could still move, just felt like i’d pulled the muscle under my armpit and pecs! On day 4 (yesterday) and today I’ve been to the shops and back all ok πŸ™‚

I’m still quite confused about the difference between unders and overs I just know I like how overs look ha I believe you have less chance of rippling if you go for unders though, and a quicker recovery time with overs?
I’m just gonna have to speak to my surgeon on the day I think! Xx

I can’t decide either ….. There are pros and cons for both ….. Think I will just go with what ever my surgeon recommends …… However I have read that it’s not the actual implant that sags only your breast ….. With overs your implant will move with the boob but with partials/ unders the breast could sag but the implants remain where they were causing the ” double bubble” look

These are unders. I can feel rippling along the bottom of my boobs but that’s more size than anything .

Hi kelly. I would advise overs if you are allowed them due to the recovery time. People who have had unders have said it is a lot harder than you think. Good luck with whatever decision you go for x

Thanks beckii, what is the “double bubble look”? X

    Thanks Fiona they look lovely!
And I know overs are meant to be less painful but I didn’t know if there was any cons with overs….I just know I like how they look, guess I’ll have to go with what surgeon thinks is best on the day xx

@mush78 what made you change to overs? Do you prefer them now? Xx

Hey chick with overs there is lot more risk like sagging ripples CC bottom out few other stuff . I had unders as I had uplift with my implants so that was less risk but under didn’t work out too good for me as my right side muscle latched it self to my implant and pulled everytime I used that muscle so I had to them over but you need to find out if your having parts or fully under muscle as some Dr re fair to parts as unders as this isn’t the same as unders x

@mush78 oh god that’s awful!! Now that you’ve had overs is it all ok now though?

Oh is it not? Are there any risks with partials then?
Would you say unders has the least risks even though it hurts more lol? Xx

Yes fully under is low risk overs high risk parts medium risk I’m not bothered about the CC as these can happen from time to time xx

Hi @kelly I had 375cc unders couldn’t have overs as I didn’t have enough breast tissue….I was scared as I too also heard that that method was painful. …. I suffered with pain for 3days and was fine by the 4th day driving on the 5th day…. everybody is different healing of the body your reaction to pain….. good luck in deciding xx

Hi Kelly! I’m having 350cc unders but Mounir didn’t give me a choice about implant placement because I don’t have much breast tissue. I think if you really like the look overs, and you were given the choice, then you should go for them. At the end of the day you’re the one that is going to be stuck with them so you should absolutely love them and you wouldn’t want to regret not going for them πŸ™‚ x

@rose-n oh have you? thats the look I wanna go for! Do you think I should wait and just see Dr Mounir on the day or try let mya know before hand? (It’s a week today). I text and emailed my pc last week and have tried phoning them God knows how many times and no one has got back to me. So I’m wondering if he will be ok to just give me partials if I just mention it on the day? Xx

I didn’t think having overs was that much risk I got told by my PC that it’s only a slightly higher risk for cc … But nothing major, as with rippling you can get that with having partials too.

The double bubble is when your natural breast tissue sags … But your implant stays in its origional position as it’s being held up by the muscule. This can create a ridge across your breasts/ distort the look almost giving you the appearance of double breasts xx

The other thing my PC mentioned was that with the placement it depends on your job and physical activity as if you do weight training or a lot of exercise usin your or muscles then it’s best to get overs as partials/unders can distort and look unnatural when your muscle is flexed.
I’ve read so many article etc about the placements and different surgeons have different views … There are many pros and cons to both …. Think it’s best to talk to your surgeon express your concern and tell them about the look you want and trust them …. They have seen thousands of women and are the experts they should be able to help you decide …. It’s got to be what you and your surgeon are happy with πŸ™‚

@beckii Yeah I remember Dr Mounir showing me photos of “double bubble” now that you’ve explained it!
See I never even got asked if I do excercise/weight training (which I do) so surely I should be having overs? I’ve had no joy contacting mya about it so hopefully I’ll have time to talk to Dr Mounir on the day about it all xx

What clinic are you with? I’m with Chelmsford and I’ve got through to the clinic/PC every time. Defiantly think it’s worth you mentioning it to your surgeon about the placement and exercise etc …. It may be fine to still have unders but it’s checking when your paying all that money … It’s important your happy with them xx

Hi Kelly πŸ™‚ I’ve just had unders and they were sore for a few days and I had limited arm movement but after a week I was driving again and going out πŸ™‚ everyone is different, even some people who have had overs have had longer recovery time than me so it really just depends on the person but generally unders are a bit more painful. I wasn’t allowed overs as I didn’t have enough breast tissue and when I spoke to my surgeon I said I wanted them to look as natural as possible, straight away he said unders. Regarding the difference of how they look, it depends on what size you go for and how much breast tissue you have in the first place. I’ve looked at some pics on here of ladies who have had the same CC as me but overs and their results look pretty much the same, but generally unders do give a more natural look, they’re less rounded and have less risk of showing the implant.
I was also worried about exercise as I do pole dancing and weight lifting – my surgeon said I will lose some strength and I have to give them longer to heal before I can start doing any weight training, but unders doesn’t mean I can never go back to it πŸ™‚ you just need to be careful and make sure you build it up. Definitely talk to your surgeon though, he will be able to suggest the best possible outcome for you. I hope this helps and good luck!! πŸ˜€ xxx

@beckii I’m with Newcastle clinic, I’ve emailed again this morning so hopefully get a reply! Every time I phone it just keeps going to voicemail 😒
Yeah your right, I’ll definitely need to mention it to be 100% sure! Xx

    @msxxx
hi Meg ☺️ Aw that’s good to hear, I hope mines a quick one! Yeah I’ll just have to speak to him and let him know the look I want and that I do weight lighting etc but suppose I will just have to ease myself back into it, im so impatient though ha! How long before the op will I have to speak with him?
    Thanks very much 😀 xx
