Removing strapping early?

hey girls I just wondered if anybody has called the nurse to go and get their strapping off earlier or removed it themselves? I obviously won’t remove it without speaking to the nurse first. I just feel like I will be more comfortable in something more breathable with some fresh air on my boobs lol the only pain I have is from this tape pulling my sides of my skin and blistering and it really stinks (sorry to pre op girls) Xxx

How long have you had your strapping on for? The nurse removed mine a day early but that was because I was having burning sensations in my boobs, like they were on fire! She had to check for infection but my strapping was off by day 4 post op. Maybe ring and see if she can get you in earlier. Xx

@hayleycx omg ures was off on day 4?? I’d love that haha I’m day 3 today I don’t think I can last til Thursday! I feel like a whimp lol but it’s the only thing causing me pain! In gonna give them a ring and ask now thank you! Xx

Yeah, I know they sometimes like to keep it on for as long as possible but if it’s causing you pain, I’d definitely ring. I hope it’s sorted for you soon hun. It makes such a difference when it’s all off! xxx

The nurse took mine off on day 4 so i dont see why it should be a problem like tomorrow onwards 🙂 xx
