Rhinoplasty Consultation with Dr Gonschior, right guy for the job?

Hey i got my consultation with Dr Gonschior, for my rhinoplasty and just wondering is he the right guy for the job should i use him or someone else, also do i need to bring anything to these consultations or not? really excited been waiting years for this and its finally happening i just a bit scared incase i have picked the wrong guy

your advise and experiences would be greatly appreciated

Hi thornalley1991 He is highly regarded on this forum as a good surgeon but at the end of the day it comes down to how you feel. You should pick the surgeon you feel comfotable with as its a big decision to make. Good luck

Dr G is the best surgeon at MYA for rhinoplasty, he specialises in facial surgeries and thats all he does. If you are looking at other surgeons as well Dr B Matti and Dr Ian Mackay are very good nose surgeons but they are private and not at MYA and also charge a bit more than MYA does. If you wanted to you can take pictures of what you want your nose to look like so Dr G can tell you if he can get near this, he will say though that your nose will never be the same as anyone elses. Also any questions that you have for him take a list because when I got there I forgot most of mine lol! Good luck with it and let us know how you get on x x

I haven’t really used this forum at all yet, as i wasn’t really sure about my nose at first and was waiting for it to settle in order to give an opinion and make up my mind wether i liked it or not myself!
but i can honestly tell you now i am MORE than happy with the results thus far ( just over 2 months post op ) i could not have wished for anything better, he did exactly what i asked, and really took the time out to listen to me and understand my needs, i liked the fact there were no false pretense’s with him and he was more than brutally honest with me from the start!
the whole surgery was a complete doddle, swelling and bruising was minimal, and not once did i have to take any form of pain killers what so ever! he really looked after me…
i couldn’t recommend him more highly enough!
but of course ultimately this is your decision and a big one at that…YOU have to feel just as happy,comfortable,and at ease with him!!

hey im one month post op with open rhino i have heard a lot of good things about dr g i had Mr Fallahdar for both of my surgeries, he was excellent and love what he has done, I had no pain at all as mimi said no pain killers onli thing i was allergic to the cast but who ever you chose good luck 🙂

Hi I have just booked my train tickets from Newcastle to Birmingham to see dr g and I am feeling more confident about him than the 3 other surgeons I have had consults with so far and I haven’t even met him yet! no one can say I haven’t done my research! I would love to see pics of his work if anyone has any , thanks xx
