Rhinoplasty?? Do it? Dont do it?

Hi everyone, I am thinking of having rhinoplasty and I was just wondering: what surgeon people had there rhinoplasty with? how they found the whole experience? and are you happy with the results so far? Thank you :)xx

Lucian Ion did mine and I am 6 weeks post-op. I am glad I did it because I have always felt like my nose detracts from my other features. However, you don’t really get instant results unless you are just having minor changes like a hump taken down, it usually takes a year to see the finished product. I am seriously swollen at the moment so it doesn’t look as though there is any change at all (which is good because I didn’t need to explain myself to people at work etc). And I do think with rhinoplasty you sometimes look worse before you get better xx

100% go for it! Best thing I ever done il be 2 years post op in November I had dr gonchior if I spelt his name right ! Swelling can be very bad I didn’t like my nose for the first 4 months now I love it xx

hi Rinaule iv added you hope you don’t mind, when you say you didn’t like it for the first 4 months was that because of the swelling or did it just not look any different? thanks for your help 🙂 xx

Hi hun. I have decided I want to have my nose done. I met with Dr gonshoir (hes meant to be the best for noses done all the towie nose jobs lol) and he said I need open rhino. Im waiting till I get my bonus from work next May. So I probs wont have op till next June. Its a long way away but atleast I can make my decisions carefully and also wait till I have the money. Hi Charlie, Dr Gonshoir seems to be very popular and most peoples comments about him sound very good! Aww I hope it all goes well for you, and I hope you can keep us all updated on your progress 🙂 I haven’t had any consultations yet, im doing as much research as possible on the surgeons before I have any consultations 🙂 is Dr Gonshoir the only surgeon you have had a consultation with? thanks 😀 xxx

Hi Tina. Yep Dr G is the only surgeon I have seen. I think I might try some from another surgery group just to shop around and see different surgeons 🙂 I will deffo keep you updated on progress 🙂 and vice versa! Nice to have someone to chat to someone to know what your goint through 🙂 x

Yeah my swelling was awful due to having literally everything done, I could obviously see a difference but it just kind of sucked as you expect it to be perfect straight away ! But now I love it best thing iv ever done xx

Hi Tina I’m 5 weeks post op and love my new nose I had closed rhino with mr gonschior and he’s amazing. It was such a painless experience. I’m so glad I decided to do it x

The best decision I’ve made having rhino I’m only 4 months post op and I still have swelling going up and down but I’ve been so happy from day one because I hated the size of my nose and its always been smaller than before, it was such a painless nice experience I wasn’t ill at all after the op and had a brill recovery. Although it seems to have opened flood gates because now I have a list of things I want done! x x
