rhinoplasty with Mr Gonschoir this Thursday!

can’t believe the wait is finally over, getting my new nose this Thursday!

I think I’m fully prepared for the recovery but I’m really keen to hear people’s experience of when the cast comes off- do you notice a big difference straight away?

Good luck Hun, I’m four weeks PO now and LOVE my new nose the first week is hard going as ur nose keeps oozing gunk and it feels like u have the worst cold in the world, I noticed a difference when the cast came off straight away, it wasn’t too swollen either but I had closed, the swelling has virtually gone now and I’m sooo happy, hope u love ur new nose too xx

Good luck for Thursday! I definitely noticed a difference as soon as my cast came off but the swelling came up pretty quickly (i had open septo-rhinoplasty) im now 3 weeks PO, swelling on my face has gone but nose is still fairly swollen (other people cant really notice, just me!) GOOD LUCK

How did it go? I had open rhinoplasty on Monday and I feel like I have the worst cold ever and still so bunged up?! Can’t wait to have cast off in 9 days time now… The countdown is on ! X

it went well- all my bruising went really quickly but the bunged up feeling is awful! i can now breathe through my nose, but where the bones are reforming have this real pressure on my nose. i think you just have to take every day as it comes and embrace all the weird new feelings lol!
cast off next thursday- 6 days- countdown is definitely ON!
