Rib cage

My ribs feel so bruised they don’t look it but that’s the only painful part now, is this normal? Xx

I’m the same Chloe I had my op yesterday and I’m in very little pain just bruised sore feeling ribs but nothing to see. I’m sure it’s normal – think I’ve come off lightly so far let’s hope it lasts!! X

i am feeling similar pains like someone is sitting on my chest when i lie down, it’s a weird crushing sensation xx

Yeah and when I try and sit up my ribs feel so bruised! If we’re all feeling it it must be normal! Xx

yeah i am struggling to sit up on my own and my back kills from lying down at this weird angle xx

Hi girls I had my op last Saturday and the worst pain I had was rib pain ! Felt like some one had punched every single rib! It is normal as all the muscles and tissues are connected to your chest.. It got easier day by day and sleep definitely helped the body heal!

My ribs are starting to get better I’m still struggling to sit up by myself lol it will all be worth it! Xx
