Hi! Has anybody heard about rippling effect. Was doing some research yesterday and saw some pics of rippling… even after 2 years of BA I saw some girls had rillping on their breasts… for reasons if they have had saline implants and not silicone or if they had it over the muscle or under and if they lost a lot of weight after the implants and there was not much tissue left on the top of the implant…

Has anybody had anything like this happening to them… God Forbid!! And really I would like to know that which implants are the best to for…. although I have heard from one the patient coordinator… that the allergens are the best…

    Please advise… thx xxx

Heyy they say that natrelle’s have a better chance of not getting rippling (I don’t believe it lol) but you still can as its caused by the implants being to big, not a lot of breast tissue, skin being to thin and weight loss ect…however doesn’t mean to say you will get it, some girls on here have got rippling (not sure what implants they had) also rippling ‘can’t’ be sort by having another opp the only ways to get rid of it is by putting weight on or fat transfer…hope this helps

P.s I had cui implants xx

Hey I’ve had rippling from 3 weeks post op I had Allergan cui’s which are more prone to rippling that the natrelles but u couldn’t afford the natrelles I’m happy with mine though u can’t see it when I apply the tiniest bit of pressure to my breast as ling as ur stays like that I’ll be fine xxx

Everyone gets rippling, unless you have 100% filled implants, some get it worse then others, some can’t hardly feel if while others you can see it. It’s just a risk of The op. My right has worse rippling then my left but I can’t see it in either xx

    Hi
I think iv replied to you via the messages but I was thin with thin skin and no breat tissue, I have had naturelle soft touch which arent soft as they are the ones with the highest fill volume Helen then placedthem under the muscle – this was all to help minimise rippling as I was a prime candidate to get it. Under the muscle placement is a longer recovery and more uncomfortable initialy just due to the extra stitching and invasion.

@mumler would you say that you have rippiling? Im also slightly worried as I am a 32a, but my surgeon suggested overs, so I might ask unders as I really don’t want to be getting any rippling. Some of the girls have been saying that you are able to feel the rippling inside and not see it? Is this possible? Thanks x

@Shelly I havent got ay rippling at all they are dare i say it perfect and I have really inspected them! Lol! Iv poked prodded and pressed to check
My pics are up if you want to have a look( bear in mind i had more extensive surgery than just a BA I also had to have a uplift and nipple reposition which is why i have more stitching)

So, you think it would be ok if I suggested unders with my surgeon on the day? I am a week on Tuesday 🙂 Will add you now, hope its ok x

No problem @Shelly I would definetly ask for unders to reduce the risk and just expect a little more discomfort but i think the pain is worth it.
I went to see a couple of sugeons who suggested that i had overs to fill out the breast skin when I went to see Helena ay MYA she was like absolutley not you will end up with a bad result it will riplle and your skin is to thin. I then saw another 3 surgeons who also agreed that unders would reduce the rippling risk.

I know its a lot more painful, but I am not bothered. A little pain for one week is worth it enough for something I have to live for hopefully 10 years or more hopefully lol! Thanks for all adive 😀 x
