Hi girls, not been on here in while as kinda forget my newoobies haven’t always been with me. Am now 5months po and have got slight rippling on the inside bottom of my cleavage, you can’t see it at all be I’m curious as to whether I making it worse by working out. I’m gyming 3-4 times a week doing mainly CV but also a bit weight work. I don’t want to stop going but also want to keep my babies in perfect condition. I know a lot of you gym a lot and wondering what thoughts are..thanks Trish xxx

    Hey trish,

Sorry I can’t answer whether it’s the exercise directly but I just had my op and my doctor said that after 4 weeks I should be fine going back to the gym and 2 weeks if it was just very light exercise eg cycling or walking. What bra do you use? You can get specialist support bras online which should really help to keep them in place. Are you running to? Because cross trainer might be less intense on them, it certainly is on the joints.

Hiya Lauren, I’ve been really careful with them and sometimes wear two sports bras if running. I use crosstrainer a lot, it maybe that I’ve lost weight but I’m in a bit of a difficult situation as I wouldn’t want to let my fitness go but then if it is the exercise that’s causing the rippling and if it could become visible then I’d have to. I’m so confused lol xxx

Hi Trish, I got rippling right in the top of my cleavage when I went back to the gym to tone up after six weeks. Weight loss certainly doesn’t do them any favours. I’m fairly thin with thin skin so it was always a risk, mainly why I only got 300cc as it would have been worse with bigger. It’s not noticeable with a bra either, and my boons are a hell of a lot better than the were! X

    Hi hun

Just make sure you wear a really good sports bra and even double up you want as little movement as possible as the weight of the implant will pull on the skin anyway, CV at the gym will increase that movement.

Thanks girls..feel like I’m caught between keeping fit and keeping my boobies 100%. Will keep on with doubling up on bras and hope that they don’t get any worse xxx
